Standard First Aid
This is a classroom-based 2-day St. John Ambulance-certified course in standard first aid available at SFM regularly. Level C means you will learn first aid for children and infants including “Level C CPR” which trains you in CPR to do on children and infants. If you only need to learn CPR on adults, click back and enroll in Level A (for adults).
The course combines theory and hands-on exercises to teach you the skills you need to preserve life and prevent further injury. More than half the class time is for hands-on practice of first aid skills, so you will leave our course able to perform practical first aid in emergency situations for casualties of all ages. This standard first aid course is suitable for people who can’t rely on ambulance services within 20 minutes of a 911 call, or who may have to transport a casualty to allow for ambulance access.
